The work of The Purpose Coalition starts from a simple premise: tackling complex social challenges demands collaboration that is practical, accountable and prepared to challenge the status quo. That is why the recent announcement that two Coalition partners, E.ON Next and The Wise Group, are joining forces with Glasgow City Council to help ease child poverty matters so much.

We all know that we are ageing as a nation. In the last 40 years, the number of people aged sixty-five and over has increased by over 3.5 million, an increase of 52%. Today, those aged sixty-five and over make up 18% of the population, and this has huge implications for us all.

Some issues are so ingrained in society that it is not apparent they are issues at all, despite affecting a significant proportion of the population. One such issue is the lack of comprehensive menstruation awareness in the workplace.
