Purpose Lab Ambassador Spotlight - Armaanpreet Singh

Meet Armaanpreet Singh! 🎉

Armaanpreet, a student at Birmingham City University, is Octobers’ Purpose Lab Ambassador of the Month.

Here’s what Armaanpreet says about taking part:

“I have genuinely loved being part of Purpose Lab because it has given me opportunities and conversations that I would not have had access to otherwise. One of the highlights was meeting employers and senior talent in person at a dedicated event hosted by Legal & General. It was genuinely eye-opening to have meaningful discussions with professionals from different areas of business, learn from their experiences (and mistakes!) and gain a much clearer understanding of how I can better prepare myself for the job market.

“Beyond simply learning about different industries, these conversations have helped me understand how businesses operate from the inside, what they value in young talent, and perhaps even more importantly how I can identify where my own skills and experiences could contribute to a business and where a business can help me grow.

“The experience so far has had a meaningful impact on both my academic and professional development, from shaping the way I approach my studies and career to giving me the confidence to engage with professionals on a much deeper level. Most importantly, it has allowed me to build genuine, long-lasting professional relationships that I once would have thought were completely out of reach.

“I’m incredibly grateful for what I have been able to do with Purpose Lab so far, and I’m really looking forward to continuing to contribute to business development and younger people’s careers, and see what else we can achieve together!”

Congratulations, Armaanpreet! 👏
