Today we're launching the Breaking Down Barriers Impact Report with UK Power Networks. UK Power Networks has been part of the Purpose Coalition really since the very beginning and we actually launched our first report back in 2021 and today was setting out the next phase of what this business is going to do to be a real engine of social mobility but it's just been fantastic to see everyone from the business, the many civil society organisations that UK Power Networks works with the apprentices that are part of UK Power Networks. It's all together a brilliant afternoon and I think what it really underlines is just the leadership that often this involves. So people like Basil Scarcella, CEO of UK Power Networks, Andrew Pace, Liz Nash, just a great team of people that all of it together makes this a version of a company that is really driving social mobility. If we could get every business in to think bit more UK power networks, then I think it would be a much better version of this country.

As we all know at UK Power Networks the opportunity for all our employees to progress is important. Today we're celebrating together with apprentices and other UK Power Networks employees the release of this report. It's a good example of what we can do as an organisation. Hopefully it will create inspiration to all of us that the opportunities at UK Power Networks are there, waiting for you to take those opportunities and progress in your careers.
